Ben McCarthy is a seasoned arts leader, fundraising strategist, and creative producer with over 15 years of experience guiding cultural organizations to greater impact and sustainability. He founded McArts & Co. to help arts institutions thrive—on stage, on paper, and in the hearts of their communities.
Ben has led development and producing efforts for well respected arts organizations across the country, generating millions in contributed revenue and designing campaigns, events, and donor strategies that align with mission and inspire action. Whether serving as an interim executive, launching a major gifts initiative, or shaping a donor experience rooted in authenticity, Ben brings a collaborative, creative, and data-informed approach to every engagement.
He holds an MFA in Arts Leadership from Seattle University, is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), and has a background in stage directing and management. A firm believer that philanthropy is about connection, not just contribution, Ben helps clients build the trust, tools, and momentum needed to succeed.
